What I wouldn't be opposed to though, concerning your photo, is positioning yourself a bit (in your photo's case) further left so that you don't have a head-on profile from the side but see a bit more of the front of the car. You sadly miss out on the sick exhaust which I only even noticed in the photo you linked), but it's still a slightly less 'boring' angle than straight profile. Could also vary it and take one where you get more of the fron and another where you get more of the back, if you get what I mean.
