>>3985257The A7RIV has questionable ergonomics and still suffers from horrible IBIS.
Sony are incapable of making good IBIS.
Also, the last time I checked, MFT cameras get about 6.5 stops of IBIS performance. Olympus Sync IS goes up to about 8 stops.
As for what the fuck you're defining as "low light"... Who the fuck is shooting at 128000 ISO?
If you're trying to shoot handheld in pitch black... you're doing it wrong.
I get very acceptable results shooting ISO 640 at f/1.8 at 1/60 using available street lighting at night.
If I'm not so concerned about moving objects, I would easily shoot at about ISO 80, f/3.5 and just have seconds long exposures on a tripod, like what people used to do back in the days of film photography.
Plus, I do about 90% of my photography in broad daylight. High ISO is only a concern indoors. Even then, I should probably get a Metz flash unit, and solve that problem for myself.
Once again... Photo and video is something I do for fun. Olympus, and also Panasonic, let me do that.
Why do you have to be the "no fun allowed" brigade?
Why do you have to masturbate over camera specs?
Just enjoy photography and the process. Slow down, observe the world around you, enjoy it, and just focus on the moments you want to capture. That's what photography is about to me.
