No elevation, miserably hot 10 months out of the year, no season change, everything is bright green, teal, or brown with no in between. Also overcast changes to bright sun so often that I basically shoot any day it's overcast for more than a few hours because there may not be another good lighting opportunity for months.

There's interesting things to photograph anywhere you go but the big killer here is how miserable it is to be outside for a solid 1/3 of the year.

Very nice. Was it handheld? I imagine a tripod would draw some attention and that shot looks very candid.
Also trying to figure how how someone's lower leg can be still when the rest of their body blurs away.

I set the camera on a short pole, but I was using a Mamiya C220 so I was attracting some attention even without a tripod.

It was during first friday festivities so just a lot of people walking around. I got lucky enough to freeze the leg with whatever shutter speed I had.

Some parts of the state are pretty good, but not where I live now. I like Washington a lot more.
