Slightly brighter edit cause it was too dark for most phones
>>3997788 > the tire track at the absolute bottom of the frame gives a convergence off-frame, which to me make it weirdly harmonious considering the extreme Dutch angle.Oh.... no, I don't think so. I mean maybe you're right but you are definitely not seeing what I see in this photo. This dynamic that you include in the photo by tilting the tracks, it's actually already in there using the tilted trees.
The reason why the tracks are so right is because their brightness, and the strictness of black and white lines is meant to add to the loneliness and eerieness of the photo. With the tilted trees, it looks like you are whatching from the window of a car speeding through the dark, like some shots from Lost Highway by Lynch. Moreover, having them straight creates a gradation in colors from the front (bright black and white) to the back (dark, cold, blue) that emphasize the distance of the trees, and loneliness of the viewer once again.
Maybe this is all only in my head ! I just like to be really precise about what I do...
But your edit takes this away, and only for the sake of some kind of composition rule, so that's why I do not like it.
Thank you very much for your feedback and kind words.
