>>3999147The pivoting here is really odd. The thread opened with OP asking why intent needs to be shown. Yet the questions you drafted essentially ask the same question, but worded differently, and you're trying to laugh the idea of intent off the board because it sounds "pretentious".
Then you or someone else is claiming critique is useless because the photographer should be able to "figure it out on his own", yet they can't figure out what the word "intent" means in this context, or extrapolate more from what's at first a much simpler criticism?
I still don't buy that this isn't only negative feedback that you feel is "worthless". Why even post here if you don't want "useless" feedback? You're obviously looking for something by posting here. The expectations for posters is laid out in the sticky on page one and aren't going to change. Yeah it would be nice if people offered more but like, welcome to the internet. If you don't know how it works online when you post something in general ("expect to be judged harshly, learn to deal with it") you're inviting a mountain of abuse. "Deal with it" could just be as simple as ignoring critique you think is shitty or bad. But if you open a thread like this it tells me you can't really deal with it and need to refer back to the posted rule.
>Noooo I don't need to change it's anonymous online posters who need to change noooooOkay, sure, I wish everyone around me would be a less shitty driver. I could be more alert and drive better myself since complaining about it won't really fix it, but I wanna complain instead. Know what I mean?
