What’s a bit lacking though is that the closest point to the camera is centered, so it’s the main point of of focus for the eye but it’s blurry so the eye doesn’t really know where to go. I’d suggest trying to take several times the same photo with different depths of field and blending them so that the main point of focus is nice and sharp.

>>3999790I don’t really know what to make of that woman on the left hand side of the picture. She doesn’t really add anything to the picture, does she ? She would have been an interesting element if she had been aligned properly to the guy and if she had been cut precisely in half. Also her outfit doesn’t match the guy’s. Appart from that the color, use of the depth of field and timing are nice. The main subject is a bit random, he has some style but not enough to really populate the photo imo.

I’m less of a fan of the square aspect ratio, I feel like the extra space above the guy isn’t necessary. I’d definitely crop it to a more rectangular aspect ratio, to give it a hollywood effect if possible
