If you need the zoom, especially on the VII, then yes. Also Sony autofocus is amazing.
Image quality on the Ricoh is better and just as pocketable. Especially in low light. Just need the viewfinder attachment
I also have a X100T and it is only pocketable in a big winter coat so nah. More fun camera though.

I do wish the Sony had better jpeg processing, the images are kinda bland. But raw is there anw.
