Greetings, /p/bodies. Let's see a few shots taken at public protests and social justice rallies around the world. I'll start with a few of my own. The indigenous people of Australia, the Aborigines, regard Australia Day (the twenty-sixth of January, the anniversary of the landing of the First Fleet in 1788 and the official start of European settlement in Australia) as a day of mourning rather than celebration. This photograph was made at an Invasion Day rally in Hobart, in Tasmania, in 2013. The protesters are gathered on the lawn in front of the Parliament of Tasmania.
