IQ wise, I don't think the GFX50 models are good value compared to modern mirrorless FF models which can outperform in terms of bokeh, lowlight, speed, size, etc. The GFX100 models are awesome, but overkill for most people.

The non-APD is available as refurb for $600 direct from Fuji right now, and a new non-APD at employee pricing is around that too (mine was $550 years ago). You get marginally worse bokeh (not enough for me to care), but then a full stop better light transmission for better lowlight shooting.
I would still be looking at the Sigma though, or waiting for the 56mm II.
