I have two of these magnificent creatures. (Oly OM2n, actually.) Along with an Olympus 35 SP, the Leica that Leica never bothered to make. (Pic related was made with that magic range-finder.)

It's a study as fuck brass built from like the 50's. It's quiet (I don't own a range finder). This camera is stripped down to just the bare bone, no AF, TTL viewfinder, no light meter. The body i'm buying is double stroke. It's the perfect camera to train and practice with and it is meant to slow down my process when I shoot.

I am comfortable operating any camera and I've shot long enough to understand any camera are capable of producing good pics. At this point I just want a nice-built to last camera without any of the bullshit that comes with modern day electronic cameras.

I use to work in a camera store. Modern camera's are as good as ever in term of image quality. The thing is there isn't much to improve on, every newer camera tech is just marketing to get you to spend money for a slightly faster or smarter auto-focus or other trivial shit.

Start photo walk and measure exposure in sun, memorize value. Measure exposure in shadow, memorize value. Don't need to measure again, and can use exposure triangle to change aperture/shutter speed. It's easy honestly as long as you aren't using slide film.
