>>4026993>You are allowed to hate him but he sounds based to me.The more you understand photography the more you understand Ken. He is in fact based.
>>4028428>/p/ says the RP is the most dogshite option out there but uncle ken says it's great. That's because it is; if you'd used one for actual phtography you'd concur. A child could carry it all day, and operate it properly too, it offers professional image quality and costs between 1-2 weeks wages for most people. The only thing it's missing is a popup flash.
Ken makes his points directly and succinctly because he knows he is speaking to the unwashed masses in his standard reviews. To read any of his more technical articles is to realise that he understands the physics, chemistry, electronic and mechanical engineering, techniques and practicalities of photography more than almost any other popular voice in the field, and to understand that when he makes a blanket statement it's made with the tacit omission of the disclaimers and caveats that undermine the authority of less effective communicators seeking to validate themselves by hat-tipping to you nerds.
If you read his advice and followed it, you would probably find yourself taking more and better photos sooner than you'd care to admit.
