>>4027514Learn to grade yourself. It's the most gratifying and is actually the fastest in the long run. I have plenty of paid presets installed, ImpulZ, RNI Films..., but for me browsing across them takes me more time than quickly throwing something together. It's not possible to completely duplicate everything, sensor tech and generation does play a role in it. But that's the beauty of it, xtrans is different compared to Canon, it'll give different look, but it's not outright superior.
The underlaying basis is the same no matter what tool or program you use to edit. imho it can be learned best from cinematographers. There are photography tutorial available online, but it's not as easy separating quality from clickbait with intentionally obfuscated knowledge to sell more and more. It can still be present in similar vein on cinematography side, but in general they tech more. No matter what approach you take, the end results pool together. Process is simple and involved modifying rgb curves, but it gets thrown through various different guis, that across different programs, each do things just slightly differently. Figuring what tools do to the curves is the complicated part, and the one that needs to be learned on your own.
It shouldn't take you more than a year of practice and learning to match most styles and create your own. Learning really pays of once you've amassed your own workflow, and knowledge that allows you to quickly modify or create a preset ideal for any given situation.
