yeah 10mp is still a fuck ton of pixels, I have 24mp apsc and it's way too much, I usually shoot at half res and even that is too much for a lot of applications

You need less actually. Get this setup or a similar setup and you will never need another camera or lens again.

FE2 -> 35mm F2 -> All Manual or Aperture Priority.

Digital storage costs money. There's no point in shooting full res then downscaling for most people. Shooting in the right res for display and doing it all in camera is infinitely more efficient.

I wasn't complaining about having a high resolution sensor in my original post, I'm glad to have it. The point I was making is that it's very much overkill for my (and most other people's) needs and 10 megapixels is still more than enough resolution

I sidegraded to a Z50 for better AF, low light and vidya, but the D90 didn't disappoint in any way, and I still have it. It got me into taking pics and taught me a lot. I love the ergonomics.

I love the D90. I got one to "upgrade" from my old D5100, but the low-light image quality was worse so I didn't use it quite as much, but I still took thousands of photos with it anyway. Great feel in the hand, it's a well-made camera, and all most people would ever need.
