>>4030675Your post doesnt really belong here friend and it will be deleted soon enough, but Ill help you out anyway. I dont know if that's you but here's some advice.
1. This is a photography board. I assume you own a camera. Use that. They btfo smart phones.
2. Dont shoot in a mirror. Point the camera at yourself.
3. Hold the camera out as far as you can. Longer focal lengths are superior for portraits because it allows the camera to be as far as away as possible, which is flattering on the face. No it's got nothing ot do with the focal length itself, its all about distance.
4. Use a focal length that fills the frame with your face. A zoom is ideal for this so you can adjust it but a fast prime will give you superior background seperation. Use what you have. I have handheld a 45mm mft shot at arms length. (90mm full frame equiv) so don't be afraid of using longer primes. Fill the frame.
4. Good lighting is everything. Ideally neutral leaning warm and soft (diffused). You can shine a lamp up against a white wall if you have zero equipment.
5. Editing is key. Get those skin tones down. Use a portrait shot that you like to base yours on if you dont know what youre doing.
I hope I helped you and I hope you dont get banned fren but it was silly to post this here
