Sorry for the gearfag intrusion, as silly as it sounds. When you are looking for gear to buy, are you more interested in the product that has all of the original packaging and such (box, manual, warranty cards, etc...) or without?

I've been interested in picking up a lens, but am kind of a stickler when it comes to having the OE packaging in it to ensure that it has been taken care of subjectively. I don't like talking about gear, but I want to hear people's experiences and inputs about buying from someone who has kept all their packaging, versus without, and is it worth the extra bucks to get a clean example.
