Men of a certain age in professional fields are utterly clueless about the digital era because they're too set in their ways to learn. They aren't hip to what's bro science and bullshit and you find that their information is distorted and out of date. It's been my observation that the ones on top of things are inveterate cameraphiles who jumped on digital early and got out of photography as a job when the writing was on the wall. Some of them shoot snoy FF because it was the only mirrorless for adapting their hoard of vintage glass to. The rest went pana or fuji because they enjoy photography and found it more than sufficient for enjoying photography. You also see some pentaxians; they're more apt towards underdog brands and MF film on the whole.
