>>4038644I use the video stuff for my anamorphic-hack'd Helios/Schneider Cinelux 15-minute wedding videos and to catch little blip-vids throughout the shoot. I went into it kinda blind but knowing that I wanted something with robust anamorphic support, so I didn't really realize just how easy ProRes is to work with, but it's freaking amazing and makes editing way, way, way, way more pleasant in a pretty fundamental way. The 240p is fun to play around with with the birbs. I did a little 10-minute run&gun gimbal documentary thing with a Sennheiser MKE 600 and autofocus, and it came out well. So far, the video has been as good as I anything I've ever used or could imagine using. (Most of my video-taking happened as a young arteest with Snoy camcorder in the 90s.)
Having never used any of the other Lumix cams, I can't be very helpful with the sensor question, I'm afraid. I do my own 13x19 prints, and it does a really great job with those, and I know of at least one client that did some sort of couch-sized canvas thing and was very happy with the result, but whether or not that's because it's a GH6 and not a G9, I just don't know. I'm VERY close to buying a G9 myself, so I might have a better answer sooner than later.
Honestly, there's nothing I don't like about it. I'd have to make something up. I was expecting the autofocus to be trash, but it's so, so, so, so, so much better than the K-1ii that I'm just in a state of bliss at how fucking good it is.
