An iPhone 12 Pro with an f/1.6 lens reproduces an effective DoF equivalent of f/9.9 on a full-frame camera, a near 6-stop increase in depth.

Should a FF camera have to stop down its aperture by that much, will the iPhone outperform a FF camera with the same pixel density in terms of signal-to-noise performance, considering it's letting in 36x more light? Disregard lens lp/mm since we aren't dealing with sharpness, no pixel binning or any other tricks.

Lastly, if there is more perceived noise in the FF camera will it negate the higher resolving power of its lens, resulting in less detail?
