Most if the pictures shown here make me wonder if some people are incapable of thinking before pressing the fucking shutter.
like, you see something you want to photograph, but instead of thinking about how you can make a picture that is ABOUT what you want to photograph, most of you just point at the subject and snapshit away.
I am 100% convinced that at this point, this board is satire or just a platform for people with gear acquisition syndrome to tell each other why the company they fanboy for sucks, but the company they themselves favor is the best.
Maybe try and actually take photos with intent instead of talking about meaningless shit like gear.
I have multiple systems by multiple companies which I all use for different stuff and I actually do make a living from photography.
Gear does matter to an extend. If you work professionally, you need the holy trinity, no way around.
But for documenting your life or anything interesting you come by, a modern smartphone is completely fine.
It just comes down to this: Can you enjoy photography as in the process of taking images without worrying about irrelevant shit like gear and how others might think of your images?
