>>4040956Yes, always. If you shoot raw, think of the raw as a digital negative. Raw images need to be processed just as film needs to be processed.
It is just a matter of personal liking on how far you want to take it with your editing.
If you are a full digitard, you will think abour your camera as a tool to capture data, and you will use multiple exposures of data to piece together an ‚image‘ (like tripple processing, blending,…) - which might look nice, but its not my thing.
I just put my Fuji to ACROS, set it to keep raws and jpeg and do street. if i think an image would profit from color, i have the raw image to work with if needed.
remember photography is about enjoying the process, not necessarily about the results. also, there is no wrong or right, and those who talk others down are just jealous or lost, just like those who don‘t tale photos for enjoyment anymore, not for themselves but others.
there is no wrong or right in photography, your gear does not matter (camera = tool, good artists can make good art even with shitty tools; there are limitations tho).
