It's neat to show the place, but it lacks a subject to latch onto, the eye just slides all over the picture without knowing where it should stop
The vignetting from the aperture and the plane separation makes it better as a photograph in my eyes, though I see your opint, which is why I actually tried it
Something in the middle might have worked, but it'd just look like that, "in the middle", kinda blurry with still no real subject
>>4045816Oh shid of course
Thanks for showing the settings, helped make it click
>>4045821It's especially comical when right accross the tiny Mona Lisa which you can't get closer than 2 meters to, stands Verone's Wedding at Cana, a 6.77 × 9.94m painting you can get as close to as you like, and everyone's turning their backs to it c':
Should have taken a picture of that from the Mona Lisa's point of view now that I think about it
>>4046142Thanks, definintely could have yes, even down to 15/20, but this isn't exactly a proper site for a portfolio
Though I'll do it next time, and post the weaker ones afterwards
The museums are great, but I found it a hassle to move around, it can be an exercise in stoicism
Would like to see what I missed though, lots of good stuff around
