is one of the best options for most beginners to intermediates around and I'll explain why. (This is for non-pros who have a reasonable budget who want something new)

You can get a brand new rp and the kit lens on sale for $999 sometimes. The 24-105 is perfectly good enough albeit a little slow, so you complement it with the 50 f1.8 for portraits and nightscapes, then throw in the el cheapo 100-400 tele for a little wildlife and what not. Thats a complete brand new setup that'll even do a little macro for under $1800 with a 5 year warranty body that you can put a couple hundred thousand clicks on and will last you at least a decade.

Youre going to get a lot of people here who are going to argue and say that this cheap rf glass is lacking. The reality is, it's almost the exact same as the pro glass in terms of image quality. All you're really paying for is weather sealing, build quality and that lower aperture and sure, that means lower iso. Then there are those who will say the RP sensor sucks. It's a 6DmkII sensor and decade old technology. Notice how these same people recommend decade old dslrs without a second thought. The sensor is fine. It's not a flagship but it is more than enough for non-professionals and the point is, its a factory new body that doesn't already have 100k clicks on it like some ebay specials.
