tl;dr version - I used to only take shots of electronics for hobby stuff, but now I need something that can handle architecture/landscapes, street photos, portraits, etc. during travel (domestic and abroad). Is the x100v good enough for that?
Looking at this deal, which is the best I've seen locally:

Without oversharing, my life has kinda sucked ass compared to what most people probably enjoyed; I've repressed the shit out of my childhood, and the rest of my youth passed in a haze. Being 30 or 40 years old with basically no happy memories kinda sucks. One recent diagnosis has shined light on why that might have been, and I'm going on kind of a weird journey now as things have improved: got a little more cashflow, a significant other somehow, and another recent diagnosis- which characterised these memory issues as an actual brain problem. With stuff happening I don't want to forget, both happy and sad, the concept of photography has become important and a smartphone has felt limiting.
Budget can stretch higher, I just like the idea of not having to carry around a bunch of gear. For comparison, an X-T_ with 1-3 lenses about the furthest I'd go.
