Hi /p I need some ideas for nude photoshoots.

I have a model mayhem profile and alot of models have been messaging me lately as they are probably after work again.

Problem is I dont have any concepts and I am bored of a girl just standing their in a weird pose, or a nude girl in shadowy light.

Anybody know any nude photographers who shoot something more creative than nude women in shadowy light or a women in a weird pose outdoors?
Also any ideas for concepts, it can be anything ,no idea is to crazy for me to consider...

I usually do TFP with my friends because I'm a hobbyist but if strangers or people I don't know who want to do OF or whatever reach out to me and expect me to pay them I tell them I didn't buy 20k worth of camera shit just to take snaps of naked e-thots I can do that with my cell phone all day and there are no shortage of e-thots out there.

Generally it is assumed whoever makes the solicitation outside of friends and family makes the payment.

Do the literal opposite, shoot people painted loads of different colours. Then get them to stand side by side to make up different pride flags. Then tag that shit with all the #nonbinary #lesbians #aesexual ect. And you get really good exposure to your other work. You have to think like a pervert to get good photographs of women. Think with your dick. Think like someone who has never interacted with or seen a woman in their life. Capture her essence as if she was a mystical being. Why don't you take your camera and follow a girl around for an entire day and just take photographs of the mundane activities she partakes in? If you want it to be erotic take photos of her showering, or dressing up and then contrast it with pictures of buying stuff at the grocery store, or eating food. Create a sexy story with your pictures here. It will be interesting.

For inspiration - unironically watch/read Japanese pornography. Read visual novels. Watch anime. The guys who make this type of media are obsessed with the female form, and they are well practiced with depicting it in the best light possible.

Buy/rent a lasershow system and take long exposures while painting them with a "scanner" pattern. It'll be like the "Venetian blind shadows" shot, only with colorful lines.

i'm a regular around here and I've done a lot of portraits. I've always wondered how you convince people to want to shoot with you for pay. As of this year, I've finally gotten to the point where word gets around that I'm "not creepy", and I've had some spontaneous volunteers for my hobby project. I made a lot of effort in previous years to emphasize that I am ethical in my conduct, including offering the models in my side project open rights to the photos. Is it best to just get up on these websites instead?

Two things, the most important one is to have a girlfriend. Women find that out and already do not see you as just some giga-creep trying to use their camera to bang them. Even Helmut Newton had a wife, how else do you think he was able to make all those amazing pictures in the 60's before the advent of social media. It's not required but it's basically a life-hack when it comes to photographing women. If you don't have a girlfriend, convince one of your female friends to be your wingman, have her hold reflectors or carry a small bag of equipment.

Second, shoot film. I mean, bring your digital setup, but bring film too. Giga-creeps aren't going to spend money on a film camera in 2022 and go through all the shit of developing film especially something cantankerous like 6x7 or 4x5 just to get some creep shots of naked girls. Young girls love vintage shit, it's a fact.

Another one is confidence. It's a two way street, not just for women. Women like a confident man in all aspects of life and this stretches into photography.

I've never once used any websites, ModelMayhem, none of that shit. Most of my work are friends or people I meet. This was a lady I worked with. I've also posted work I've shot of people and had other people contact me after seeing it wanting their pictures done too.

Most of the time I do TFP I rarely get paid for this, I don't do it for the money though. I'm just a hobbyist.

I have a girlfriend, I've been shooting almost exclusively 4x5 and 120 for going on a decade, and though I may not be the most chadly, I have reasonable confidence, especially when behind a camera. Maybe I just don't get out enough. It's harder now that I'm 30. What confuses me is that I've made a huge network of acquaintances through my one big project, netting me nothing. On paper, I know lots of people. I fear there's something insufferably awkward about me that I'm just not seeing. Both the models and sometimes other local photographers like my work. I've even had a couple international artist types slide into my DMs to try and steal my method, usually lazy rich women whose career probably rests as much on their face as their craft.

I'm going to release my inner Boomer here but, 90% of what I do is literally just getting out there and showing up. You don't need to be a Chad but confidence goes a LONG way. I have a few attractive friends on social media that are always posting selfies, I will reply on one of them with a picture of my 4x5 asking them if they have ever been shot on a real camera, remember most women live in front of their cell phones. Success rate is about 50% but that 50% that agrees works out to some amazing work.

Hell, I've got one I'm talking to who I accidentally sent a picture of a Rikenon 55/1.4 I had completely disassembled in parts on my bench for a full CLA and she asked about it. I told her I've been learning camera repair the past year and she thought that was intriguing. Women like a man who has ambition, it's interesting to them. This stretches beyond sexual relationships and just mindless lizard brain mechanics, it's a thing in all aspects of life. I've got her booked for a day when I get home.

I met her online when she complained she paid a guy to shoot her and he had not delivered her photos after 6 weeks, I told her you would have had your digital proof set when I got home and developed film in a week if you let me do it and posted a link to my 500px I haven't updated in like 2 years lol

I'm not the most attractive person, I'm actually like 300lb and look like a fucking beached whale with a huge beard and this is something I've gotten pretty good at. Personality goes a long way with women in their 30s. And here again this isn't constrained to just sexual relationships, a bit of advice I can give to people on this board is learn to be friends with women without trying to bang them, you'll learn a lot about women. Shoot your shot. Carry your camera everywhere, I bring either my Leningrad or Df or sometimes both. People will ask you questions, not all of them will be nice. Get yourself out there. Be confident without being a prick.

Definitely one of my biggest failures was photographing women I was fucking. When things always end acrimoniously or without further contact, you lose a lot of the photos and the connections to the friends of theirs you also shot. I sometimes forget how much my social circle has contracted dating crazy slavs and "NB" woketards.

I have been fortunate that most of my girlfriends were terrified of cameras, and the current girlfriend has few pictures I've done of her this one >>4051926 being one of them. They all supported by hobby though even when I was down, I was stuck in a creativity fog of depression and the current girlfriend called me a bitch for having the kind of equipment I have and not doing anything with it and that made me get out there and shoot again.

The hardest thing you will all experience when you get older as photographers is losing family members you cared about. I lost my brother to Stage 4 glioblastoma which is basically a fancy way of terminal brain cancer. I knew I had to go on a shooting spree and I did, the pictures aren't hard to look at but maybe I handle death differently because of being on the spectrum. This is one of the last pictures I shot of him before he was bed ridden, it was done on my RB67 with a 90 Sekor and Polaroid back with FP3200.

Photography is a life-long introspection of understanding our relationship between geometry and light.

I hear you man. I lost my dead quite suddenly and unexpectedly only a few months ago. He was in his early 60's. I never really got to shoot him more than a few times. On the bright side I have such a sparse family tree that there aren't many more people to lose.
