No, the cyan tint that Nikon gives skies has been a constant ever since they first went CMOS.

And Sony sensors are in every Sony, Fuji, Nikon, Pentax, hasselblad, Olympus, leica and phase one interchangeable lens camera currently on the market, and for most of their CMOS history (Olympus used to use Panasonic sensors, Leica used to use cmosis all the other brands have always used Sony)

Why does everyone use Sony? Because they make the best sensors.

Lots of companies out there that could easily hit the same prices Sony is asking if they had nearly enough demand for economies of scale to work.

No sensor has managed to outperform Sony at a given size, regardless of cost.

Because Sony are much more protective and insular regarding their pro cine business, I don't think they sell their sensors to ANY cine cam manufacturer.

If that were true, why did no one use them? We live in an age where a product can EASILY become a best seller as long as it has the best specs and measurements, almost completely regardless of price.

They probably did their usual Samsung chip fabrication trick of making 100 chips in the hope that just one was good enough for use, and then use that golden sample to oversell their manufacturing capability. Samsung misselling their abilities is at least 50% of the reason you couldn't buy a GPU for the last 2 years, they are actually a massive joke compared to real chip fabrication companies, like Sony or tsmc.

Lel that's not how photographers think or work. Brand loyalty is very compelling, especially when you've already sunk 10k into lenses and accessories for your kit.

I don't see them recording 4K video at 120fps or snapping full resolution at 30 fps.
Also Pentax is really late with their 60MP sony sensor recycle, Leica has beat them to it.

You aren't wrong, but it goes both ways. Sony is also using Sony sensors, and they aren't even the best at using Sony sensors, and often they sell their best sensors to competition.
