the zone focusing is also kinda fiddly with the Rollei (B&W pictures), and I need more experience with it, I like to focus at intermediate ranges rather than infinity, but I may change that in the future, it suited me well back then and I'm satisfied with it
I've received the comment a few times (for exemple, pic related), but in my eyes they're not out of focus at all, merely on the soft side of things. I sometimes focus for a scene rather a subject.
Your concern is understandable, but ultimately inconsequential to me; for these pictures at least
