>>4052423Let me be a bit more clear as to why that's a good choice, OP. M43 is the best format on the planet for travel. About this, there can be no argument. As a pro who spends his time traveling with gear, the fact that I can now throw a 100-400mm (200-800mm in full-frame terms) in my bag without giving it a second thought has changed the way I take photos. The same goes for nearly every lens on the format. The dainty 12-60 that I use on my GH6 has replaced the beastly 24-70 that I used to use on my Pentax. It's lighter, takes great snaps, and has more reach. (This is to say nothing of the fact that M43 has an incredible lens line-up, in my opinion the best on the planet, with two manufacturers making world-class lenses.) I just checked, and the battery is good for 360 snaps with the LCD, and so you can probably double or triple (or quadruple) that if you use the EVF. Coming from the Canon, you're probably going to enjoy a mirrorless. It's a whole new world. Intuitive and quite fun. That camera also shoots 4K, which you might find to your liking, and 20MP is plenty for anything you're likely to do with it. Great IBIS, great company, great community, great snaps, great lenses, great battery, great for travel. What's not to love?
