This has been kind of fun - I buy used SD and CF cards, or old cheap P&S that come with one, and then run recuva or photorec on them to see what I can find.

If I can find it I have some stuff off an old 3mp Sony P&S that I am fairly certain belonged to someone who died and their family liquidated all of their belongings to quickly sell their house and all of their assets. The images were never taken off the camera and date to like 2005 or somewhere around there.

I altered the first a bit, but the others are SOOC except I increased exposure on the group photo.
They were shot on a D3 according to exist, but the D700 is very similar. D700 colors are very nice, almost as nice as 5D classic

I have a used CF card coming in the mail today, will try it with that. Also eying a few lots of used SD cards on ebay, you can get them for $1/card usually, lots of 10-100

Update: I struck out this time, it was an open box item that had never been used.

I have a few ebay bids out on lots of used SD cards 8MB-2GB, here's to some potential vintage digishit in a week
