>>4068432>Which is terribly reductive thinking.I'd call you an idiot, but you're just oblivious to political analysis, or really scientific analysis in general. Let me explain you. Physics might be more familiar and legitimate as a science, so i'll take that as an exemple. In short, modelling is used in physics to analyze and predict certain phenomena. A modelization is a simplified projection of reality in order to make the analysis easier. It is only one perspective, one way to look at a certain phenomenon.
Now let's transpose that to political science or sociology. Instead of studying, say, the trajectory of a football thrown in the air, you're interested in social phenomena, for exemple, some aspects of men/women private relationships (a feminist french theory corollary to everything is political is "private is political"). That doesn't mean you have to look at everything through a political spectrum all the time, it just means you can. If you can analyze phenomena through politics, that means there are political solutions to this phenomenon, if it were to be perceived as an issue.
>he literally implied that everything IS political without any nuanceWhat I just described is what people usually mean by this, you're just taking this sentence at face value. But a short quote cannot summarize a complex idea.
>you're trying to do damage control by projecting your own insecurities regarding your teenage past.>ur just projectingYes, yes. If you have questions about this, you can ask me here or just have a look on Wikipedia. Otherwise I would advise not responding and further showcasing your ignorance and lack of understanding of political concepts.
Cheers.
