I'm just getting started with photography and have nothing but a GoPro.

Do any of you use a GoPro for photography?
If yes, can you upload some shots and give some advice on how to get the best of the camera?

Seems to me that the best way to attack it would be using it to get shots that cannot be gotten with other methods. It's waterproof, right? Shock-proof? Does it have a timer? I've never used one...

That's a good call, but I want to take mostly landscape pics

Yes, mostly yes, and yes, although I've never put it underwater because I'm kind of a pussy about it. I'll have to try it out someday and hope it doesn't get rekt

I'd be sticking it on a telescoping rod or hanging it off the side of buildings or putting it on a fishing line/reel or making use of its capabilities/light weight.
