filters are a cheap and easy way to spruce up any photography

graduated filters
colour filters
polarized filters
effect filters (70's porno movie star pattern ohoho)

a filter costs anything between one to 20 bucks so you can get a whole slew of them for next to nothing too

Just got a Bronica S2 with three lenses:
>75mm f2.8
>200mm f4
>50mm f2.8
plus extension rings and a 2x teleconverter. I had to replace the foam for the mirror and focusing lens but otherwise it’s damn near brand-new. I shot through a test (fully exposed) roll of 220 film and the mirror got stuck down once but hopefully that won’t be an issue otherwise. Should I grease it anywhere with some silicone dry lube?
Previous medium format camera was a Mamiya-6 folding rangefinder from the 50s so I’m pretty excited for this acquisition.

You will get kino color like William Eggleston. He use to overexpose his film by three stops.

Film has mad ability to handle highlights. Don't do it with all film rolls but 1 or 2 shot and see how it will turn out. One with 2 stops overexpose and other with 3 stops overexpose.

Honestly, that's probably it. The negatives weren't dry enough when I got them scanned, warping probably fucked the focus up now that I think of it. I'll have to try again tomorrow

Crossed one of my bucket list cameras off, Kodak Medalist II

Still does 620 I haven't converted it yet and don't know if I will. Gave it a rangefinder calibration and found a Wratten filter set for it. This specimen is from 1945.
