Six years ago I bought a second hand Lumix g7 + 12-35mm 2.8 to take with me in a three months trip across Europe. I found myself shooting much more than with my Nikon. I could carry the camera and a nice glass without breaking my back, so I had the little piece of equipment always with me.
Today I shoot with a GX9, the same 12-35, a cheap 42,5 1.7 and a vintage zeiss plannar which is 100mm equivalent. I make A3 prints that look very nice to my eyes.
Cons is the small sensor, but man, I do not make a living of photography and I can live with some noise in my pics when I need to shoot at 6400, which doesn't happen often.
If you want to work with your camera, forget what you just read and buy a Sony for video or a Pentax for photography.
