What makes it so bad?
It just feels like a fat phone, it doesn't inspire good photos, moving to Canon G1X made me take a lot more interesting photos.

Holy fucking this. Had one briefly, sharpness was terrible. Nothing helped, not a tripod, not shooting in broad fucking daylight, nothing. It's beaten by an a5000 with a kit lens that cost me a quarter of the stupid fucking rx100.

Still using USB-micro
Still no HDR video mode
Still shitty highlight rendering in video
Still no 10-bit video modes
Bullshit 8-bit HLG video

All for bullshit reasons, eg. Snoy somehow thinks 10-bit video on a 1" sensor camera is going to hurt their pro sales. Same shit on the FF mirrorless cameras as well. So, the reality remains - a fucking iPhone has better HDR video quality vs the blown-out highlight garbage from Snoy.

god, you remind me of GAYmers picking this rgb light shit devices to appear better, the thing is the only thing you are looking at when doing something is your screen, that's all, the same applies for you, even fujifags use good design which is useful, but god, i don't care so much about rx100 than i care about this shit

It's interface and control is horrible, i have the mk1 and can only speak for it, but here are some horrifying issues.

>tracking focus takes 3 seconds to "cancel" but activating is instant
>2 auto modes that limit you severely and feel like a phone camera
>the control ring is so mushy and terrible to use, it feels like something is broken
>when using the control ring, the interface is slow as fuck better to use the back dpad ring, except its easy to press the flash button.

It's too small to be a camera, too big to forget about it and carry it everywhere like a phone.

What more could you ask for? Only thing I don’t like to how greedy they were remaking it SEVEN times like wtf. The cutest cosplayers wanted my contact info, complimented the camera easily let me take selfies with them. One of the best cameras I’ve ever used

Form factor is very important. These tiny cameras with no grip can be infuriating to use. Some are better than others, but the RX series has always been cramped and slippery.
