I'm so fucking sick of this shit. Mostly lurk for kicks but I'm sick of all the bullshit said on this board. I'm a pro, I reproduce artwork and make prints for artists. I'm also an fine art photographer as well.
>Muh sensor size
Bigger sensor = better image quality. Simple as. I use full frame for art repro, Id use gfx or even a 4x5 scan back if I had the money.
>but muh ibis
gfx and full frame options all have ibis now.
>But muh pixel shift
gfx and full frame options have pixel shift
>But muh reach
Plenty of long lens options for FF. If you need to crop later.
>but muh price
This is a fair point. However, I shoot professionally with a d610 and 80s era ais manual lenses. You don't need 120 fps animal butthole AF. You probably don't even need af.

>Snoy has bad colors!!!! the skin is so green. Canon/nikon/fuji has better colors
I'm so fucking tired of hearing this. make your own goddamn camera profiles. buy a $50 sypder color checker and make a basic matrix profile. Shoot a grey scale and align your netural axis if you really want to go all out.

>but muh film colors
I shoot film, some 35mm and 4x5. I used to have a MF camera too. Film isn't accurate. Simple as. However, film manufactures tune different stocks to be accurate in different areas. There is a fundamental trade-off between accuracy of neutral tones vs high saturation colors. This is true for both negative and reversal stocks. Also, if you scan your film, just cut out the middle man and just shoot digital.
Most of the stuff I see on here photo wise is crap snapshots. If you shoot portraits/commercial stuff follow the trends in the area. If you shoot fine art, you have to make great prints to taken seriously. If you don't have prints of your work, you won't even get in the door. Inkjet is fine, silver gelatin or pl/pd
better, obscure printmaking techniques are better still. Set yourself apart. doing something different.
