The stock strap is the most unpretentious there is, if anything by placing so much importance on it you're the pretentious one.
Canon; Lumix and Nikon straps are cool, just a bit short. Sony, Pentax, Olympus are all fugly. Fuji ones are a joke, to call that a strap is an insult to straps (not as big of an insult as it is to rangefinders to call Fujis "rangefinders", because at least the strap fits the definition).
Buying a $50 strap to avoid using the brand one only outs you as a self-conscious, pretentious insecure fuck.

This is nothing. He's at least trying to get something going even though it's a wall outlet in his house.
When I look around Flickr groups to check out lenses or bodies I sometimes stumble across people's personal albums with pictures of their niece's birthday, their grandmother or their visit to the zoo.
How much lead does one need to drink to publish those?

This is kind of why I left the place years ago. It’s just other photographers commenting like this. It’s hard to see the point, we’re just showing off our work to other photographers.
