I am new to photography
Do medium format users make fun of FF users in the same way FF users make fun of APS-C/crop users? How are MFT users treated? Are there even smaller sensors than MFT or larger sensors than MF?

MF cant laugh because they dumped $10k+ into their kit and is bulky.
/p/ bullied me out of my x-t2 so i bought a d800e for cheap and i've hated it since. Its an objectively better camera, extremely good even, but i just felt like some pseudo Ken Rockwell old guy with an awkward cumbersome kit.

APS-C users don't make fun of MFT. There are smaller sensors than MFT present in bridge cameras, smartphones, etc. If you mean ILCs there are some 1-inch sensor ones like Samsung NX Mini or the Nikon 1 J1 but who knows who uses those

In the film era, yes, if you didn't shoot mf at all you were probably just a dadtographer, like the mft crowd today. Further still, if you shot 645 you were probably a beta incel too, 67 and 69 were for real photographers.

In digital we're not there yet, there isn't even any 645 size sensors, phase one come close, but the ~$10k options on the market aren't even twice the size of full frame and they still need to double in size again to reach 645 and then double in size AGAIN to reach "real" mf size.

I honestly don't see CMOS ever getting there in a way that's remotely cost effective, getting large chips out of wafers with no defects is already a struggle for just full frame.

Where can I read more about this? This stuff really interests me.
Are the defective FF sensors repurposed for snaller sensors like how CPUs are binned?

It's either best of both worlds or worse, depending on how you view it.
M43 has much smaller (and cheaper) options if you don't mind the lack of "equivalence".
FF isn't that much more $, and you can still stay about as small as APS-C with "equivalent" lenses, and then you also have the option to go for the "better" FF glass.
Outside of Fuji, APS-C has really been more of an afterthought / entry level focus for most brands. A lot of people end up on APS-C just because it's the starting point for Canikony, so it is the noob / poor tier sensor size.
At the end of the day, it wouldn't make a difference for 99% of the pictures posted here. It's easy to argue over, along with just brands, like team sports.
