tripod, two FD lenses, and an old Rebel EOS film body and kit lens. I think it was all easily worth over $150, I was expecting like around $100 considering their business model. They tried to give me like $30 for all of it with the final quote saying all of it was in poor condition.

That was painful. I thought it would have been a quick check and then give me store credit towards the better lens I wanted, nope, it took them forever. At least in that time the lens I bought dropped by $30 and is mint. Anything I've bought in excellent condition might as well be brand new.

Even if it were $150, I wouldn't have guessed any more than $50. You always get less selling to a store.

Rebel with kit lens is literally a $25 kit

Are the FD lenses canon brand? The canon 50/1.8 is a $40 lens tops. 90% of Canon FD zooms are $15 tops. The canon 28/2.8 which is also common is $40 tops.

I felt the same about it but now I want to use it since they cleaned it up. It's my only 35mm film option with autofocus and a full frame sensor. Looking back, I'm mad I didn't send my AE-1 in to get cleaned too.

somewhat unrelated but for what it's worth I had an order from KEH stolen and their customer service was decent. I got a refund. Lucky for them because I'll probably buy from them again but I'm still pissed that some felon made off with my fucking stuff. if I got my hands on him I would definitely mete out a punishment far out of proportion with the hundred dollars worth of goods he stole

but anyway I guess I like KEH now but I hate the dumb retards at FedEx. The fucking guy said he left my packjage wherever because he didn't want to walk to my apartment. And he said if it gets stolen it's "not [his] problem". FUCK fedex. I literally had to call the police and file a fucking report to get my refund because some mongoloid package handler couldn't do his job

What the fuuuuuuck. yes it has a 6 month warranty from the seller but that doesn't matter when after those six months you can't pay Nikon any amount of money to fix it unless I send it to the UK. Think I'd have any wiggle room to email these guys and ask for a swap? 95% of their stock of this camera is clearly USA serial numbers, idk wtf happened here.
