>>4081624>What does /p/ do for work?Had a massive windfall so took this year off, bought a house, and have been enjoying my free time. Prior to that, worked in admin/ops for a larger retailer, and ~10 years of camera retail before that. Hoping to get the house finished up with a studio by the end of the year, then likely back to the old workplace in a more part-time role.
Have done weddings (and other photo stuff) on the weekend with my partner for the last 6 years in addition.
>Is it photography related?Admin/ops itself stuff not really, but a lot of opportunities with the company. Had lots of co-workers that left to do media stuff.
I've taught photo classes, judged photo contests for local orgs, worked with a few brands for photo/video, etc.
