The "android phone distortion" is from holding the phone too close to someone's face. If you move the phone further away, and zoom in instead, that will get rid of the distortion, similar to getting a "50mm lens camera".

The other images show the 24mm and 105mm have the same "distortion" when shot from the same distance (and cropped to match). This is equivalent to moving the phone further away, and zooming in or cropping.
