Other things that may make the better image could be beauty filters that concern the shape but also blemishes and skincolor, then general editing like color pop, highlight sharpening and contrast push, then auto capturing for denoising, hdr, extraction of a moment, selectable dof, then wysiwyg with tap to focus and expose with all the editing already in work.
Cameras have higher quality to begin with and also way more potential, but it's a hard process with pitfalls and labor to nail what phones do at an ease. Where I see, quality is rather an attribute described to cameras and not phones, I'd rather describe cameras with options and control that they offer to allow deliberate and destinctive choices.
