I think a subconscious part of me loves street photo for the same reason as I like the idea of travelling to shithole developing countries or partaking in some make-believe Fight Club.
I yearn for the day that someone delivers me my comeuppance, because until that day I'll smugly be taking photos of anyone and anything I wish. When someone finally does approach me physically, I'm sure it'll be a fair fight and I won't be afraid to get physical. I might even pull a weapon on them. Fuck it, may the best man win.
I'd rather die through fighting for something I enjoyed rather than pass away quietly from a brain aneurism at an after hours office space at 42. When I'm lying in a pool of my own blood on the street after a scuffle over basic privacy, I'll be doing it with a smile.
