Anyone got any experience with the Sigma 17-35 f/2.8-4 D EX?

Looking for something to walk around landscapes/city, and this one caught my eye.

Tamron is sort of a third-rate manufacturer, but I'm sure it'll be good enough if you're on a budget. Plus if you buy used, it's basically free as it's already depreciated 95% of the way and you'll be able to sell it for pretty close to what you paid.

I have it. It's a piece of shit. If someone gave it to you for free (like mine) I suppose it might be OK. I wouldn't waste money on it, keep saving for a better lens.
