Yes it's another gear thread, sorry guys. But you'll tell it to me like it is with no hype or shilling.
So I'm looking into buying into a full frame mirrorless system. I shoot seriously, but not professionally (I don't depend on it for my main income). I'm looking at used cameras in the 'enthusiast / low end professional' spectrum, so basically SontyA7(R/S)ii/iii, Nikon Z6i/ii, Canon EOS R. I'm hoping to get a used camera, and one or two decent primes for around 2000 USD.
I shoot mainly event photography at 'alternative events', very frequently wth poor or moody lighting, so low light performance and noise quality is important to me. I am a huge raw processing / color calibration geek, so I basically don't care at all about how images look SOOC.
Yes, I know that it's the photographer and not the gear and all that, but also I'm looking at spending quite a bit of money and buying into an ecosystem here so I'd like to consider my options carefully.
So are there any clear winners here, or clear losers to avoid?
