>>4095336It's a very niche thing, so I'm not surprised to find there are no articles out there comparing the two, but how does the Micro USM compare in robustness to the arc motor of the aforementioned 1.8? From what I read, the fragility of the 1.4 comes from having the focusing mechanism extend out the front where it whacks things, but so does the 1.8 and I have been using that fine.
