This year, shooting with my phone, i got runner up in my UNI's amateur photography prize. The equivalent of 1.5k usd, which i want to put towards a beginners camera, or maybe an older pro. I have a few questions about weather and dust sealing since my MO is going to industrial sectors (factories, dockyards etc) and photographing people working. I occasionally get sprayed with water, and regularly covered in coal dust so i need something that can handle the pressure.
.
Im waiting to see what goes on sale but right now im being offered a 'almost new' Fuji X-T30 II for half the price. No weather sealing, if i can grab a few lenses on BF might be a quite a good setup, no?
Anywho, what would people here recommend. Can a regular camera handle the dust in particular or do i need to get one of the expensive weather sealed bodies?
Thanks
