>>4100419Had a bit of time to play around with the X-H2s, so initial impressions?
So convenient to just move a dial to switch between 6k, 4k60/30, A, and M modes. Definitely better as a workhorse hybrid, than my X-T's were. Do miss the MCS switch, but using the custom button isn't that different.
Viewfinder is better, but not dramatically so. Love the mechanical shutter sound, so soft and quiet.
I like the build quality, feels surprisingly light. Grip is like perfect depth for me, but could be a tad taller (pinky rests at the bottom), but cage fixes that.
Don't mind the ISO button, it's basically how I usually used other models, but odd it's not changeable via the command dials anymore. I wish those dials clicked in too, at least the back one. I'm use to clicking on the joystick to re-center, but now I can't use back dial to zoom in
Camera feels really snappy when shooting, but the menus almost feel sluggish sometimes. The new AF is amazing, not looking forward to using my older cameras anymore. Overall solid, but definitely a few little things to shore up via firmware. Hopefully X-T5 ships out today.
