I've posted over 1,800 of my photos on IG and no-one gives a fuck.
I have gotten IRL praise for my work from several people and was even encouraged to start a website. It failed miserably.
With all that disappointment, I have also hit the wall for taking photos, as I have done a lot of my local area and am otherwise a hermit.
It would have been nice to generate a comfy 'passive' income by selling just four photos a day, but it wasn't to be. Still trapped as a miserable NEET aspie.
