>small packet of desiccant
>microfiber cloth
>camera strap

Those zeiss lens wipes are really clutch. I know it's just paper and denatured alcohol, but the cheap non-zeiss ones always dry and leave lint or spots which almost never happens with the zeiss ones.

I don't do opportunistic/impromptu photography, my gear only comes out for organized shoots or events. Here's a typical rig though, really old photo but I haven't bought much gear in a long time.

hyperfocal distances and depth of field ranges for the apertures at various distances from the subject. this lens doesn't have the notches on top for zone focusing so I keep that as a reference.
the other "paper" is a microfiber cloth lol
