>>4101457>Seeing the world through the lens instead of a faggy LCDhas pros and cons, it's fine if you don't like it, but it is an advantage for others
the mirrorless bodies i shoot most often have ovf's too
> late millennialthat still uses faggy and can't grasp the idea other people might prefer an EVF
>>4101461>EVFs haven't matched the resolution and refresh rate of an OVF at all, it's not even closewho says they do? good straw man friend
>You really have to trust the camera to an extreme degree and peep the focus peakingi get more reliable AF from modern mirrorless than i ever did with a dslr, eye auto focus is amazing, i have to "trust" a DSLR far more
>Unless you are vision impaired confirming focus on a DSLR is way, way betterexcept you have to deal with af fine tuning because the af sensor is offset from the imaging sensor
most modern DSLR focusing screens are optimized for brightness over precision, not great for mf with fast lenses
less manual focus aids, no ability to zoom in, no dual display, worse ability to see in extreme dark, no exposure preview for the noobs
>The mirrorless fans aread hom ad hom, but fairplay for my boomer take
if anyone prefers DSLR's, more power to you! i love ovf's myself. just looks stupid to only look at the pros on one side and only look at cons on the other.
