This a photo taken with a an Hasselblad EL during the Apollo 8 mission. I took the liberty of adjusting it so that the weird jelly fish like think appears properly.

What can cause this type of figure appearing on film? Is it dust or dirt? There are a couple more with these artifacts.

Any explanation for this?
